Warehouse Storage and Pallet Racks in Summerfield, FL

We design, quote and install new pallet racks in Summerfield for mid-size warehouses and contractor operations along US-301. We plan warehouse racking around the stock arriving, the loads leaving and the room needed to handle both. Between Ocala and The Villages, indoor pallet storage often works alongside a material yard, so the layout must keep pallet handling separate from long-stock movement.

County Line Industrial is a 21-acre PUD on four-lane US-301, also called Nathan Mayo Highway. It is approved for manufacturing, warehousing, distribution and contractor yards, with up to 400,000 square feet of development. Those planned uses support several possible storage patterns; a tenant’s own inventory determines which arrangement belongs inside its building and which material belongs in the yard.

The US-301 corridor here is about 15 minutes from the I-75, Turnpike and SR 44 interchange, five minutes from the northern Villages and 25 minutes from Ocala. For an operation serving more than one direction, outbound staging should distinguish loads by departure sequence without consuming the main forklift route.

Place receiving and dispatch areas on the same drawing as the pallet racks. If a contractor collects partial bundles while a pallet shipment is being unloaded, both tasks need working room. Separate those movements where the building allows. Road access helps bring material to the property; the indoor and yard arrangement determines how it reaches a storage position.

Indoor selective pallet racks can suit varied pallet inventory because each position has direct access. Begin with a load schedule showing pallet width, depth, height and maximum weight. Include packaging that extends beyond the pallet edges, since that overhang affects spacing even when the pallet footprint itself is familiar.

Existing US-301 buildings include agricultural-supply and storage buildings with Marion County water and sewer. For any specific building, measure the usable interior rather than assuming one corridor property matches another. Check column locations, doorway approaches and forklift turning needs. Set pallet racking beam elevations using both load height and the truck’s available reach.

Cantilever yard storage gives lumber, pipe and other long loads support along their length. Select arm arrangement from the material dimensions and weight, including the heaviest bundle expected. Plan the approach with the load on the forks so the drawing represents the full movement, not just an empty truck.

Keep partial bundles accessible without scattering them across receiving space. Assign a position for returns from job work if that material will go back into inventory. During June–November hurricane season, outdoor work and installation scheduling may need adjustment. Hot summer afternoons also make crew staging and the sequence of outdoor tasks worth discussing before installation day.

A single stock list can identify what stays inside, what belongs outdoors and what moves between the two. Mark reserve pallet rack systems separately from hand-picked supplies. This avoids assigning an indoor bay to a long bundle that cannot turn through the doorway or keeping everyday supplies beyond a busy yard loading area.

Ocala Pallet Rack offers free layout/CAD design help through Warehouse Consultations, plus itemized quotes and installation of new industrial pallet racks. If your storage is shifting from Belleview, compare inventory roles at both addresses. Our warehouse relocation work includes teardown, the move and reinstallation, with the sequence planned around which stock must remain available.
