Pallet Racks & Warehouse Racking in Ocala, FL

Ocala sits on the stretch of I-75 that carries roughly 70% of Florida's truck traffic, and the buildings going up around it show it — from the Commerce Park on NW 35th Avenue Road to Florida Crossroads off CR 484. We plan pallet racks around your clear height, pallet loads and the forklifts you already run.

Send a few measurements or photos and we'll return a CAD layout and itemized quote at no charge. Need it moved too? See our warehouse relocation service.

Pallet Rack Systems We Plan and Install

Six rack types cover nearly every warehouse in Marion County. The right one depends on SKU count, turns, pallet size and the forklifts you run.

Selective Pallet Rack in a warehouse

    Selective Pallet Rack

Every pallet reachable from the aisle. The workhorse for general distribution with lots of SKUs and steady turns.

    Pushback Rack in a warehouse

    Pushback Rack

Two to six pallets deep from one aisle on nested carts. Density for food, beverage and 3PL operations.

Pallet Flow Rack in a warehouse

    Pallet Flow Rack

Gravity rollers move pallets from the load side to the pick side, so date-coded product rotates first in, first out.

    Drive-In Rack in a warehouse

    Drive-In Rack

Forklifts drive into the lanes to stack the same SKU deep. The densest pallet storage for cooler and freezer rooms.

    Cantilever Rack in a warehouse

    Cantilever Rack

Open-front arms for lumber, pipe, tube, sheet goods and fencing. Indoors or out in the yard.

Carton Flow Rack in a warehouse

    Carton Flow Rack

Sloped wheel beds feed cases to the pick face. Built for each-picking and order fulfillment.

Warehouse Racking for Ocala's Distribution Corridor

The NW Ocala cluster along US-27, NW 44th Ave and the new I-75 / NW 49th Street interchange is full of e-commerce, parcel and grocery distribution centers. These buildings run tall and wide, so the questions are about beam levels, aisle width for reach trucks, and how many pick faces stay full. Most of that work starts with selective pallet rack and pallet flow at the pick line.

Further south, Florida Crossroads Commerce Park and the airport logistics parks off SW 60th Ave add newer bulk and rear-load buildings. Older close-in stock along N Magnolia Ave and the US-441 / US-301 corridor is lower and tighter, and often suits a mix of selective rack and pushback rack.

Storage Racks for Cold Rooms, Plants and Yards

Grocery, convenience and foodservice distributors need every pallet they can fit into cooler and freezer space. Drive-in rack, pushback and pallet flow all store far more per square foot than selective rack in those rooms.

Manufacturers here — fire apparatus, windows and doors, glass, defense electronics — store raw material, parts and finished goods side by side. Building-supply yards and farm and ranch suppliers in horse country move lumber, pipe and fencing on cantilever rack. E-commerce pick lines use carton flow.

    Install Scheduling Around Florida Weather

Marion County is inland, so storms usually arrive weakened, but hurricane season from June to November still shapes install dates and how outdoor material is staged. Summer heat and afternoon thunderstorms in non-air-conditioned buildings mean early starts. Distributors serving the whole state often want surge positions for post-storm restock planned in from day one.

We serve towns from Gainesville to Wildwood and Belleview. Our team handles the permit side for you.

    Scheduling Around Weather

Early starts in summer, plans for afternoon storms, and slack in the schedule during hurricane season.

Pallet flow, pushback and drive-in layouts that put more pallets into expensive refrigerated space.
